Project Overview

Past Experience & Context

Southern California Edison’s NextGen Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program represents a major enterprise-wide technology transformation, implementing S4/HANA to modernize business processes, improvedata quality, and leverage machine learning and business intelligence capabilities across the organization. The program impacts more than 10,000 users and supports SCE’s broader strategic objective of building a smart, reliable grid through clean energy resources. Logic provided project management services as a subcontractor to Parkins Data in support of this complex, multi-workstream implementation.

Challenge

Enterprise-wide ERP transformations at utility scale carry inherent complexity — coordinating across multiple workstreams, managing interdependencies between technical deployment and organizational readiness, and maintaining operational continuity while migrating from legacy systems. The program required disciplined project management to keep workstreams aligned, ensure milestone adherence, and support the coordination needed to deliver asystem that would ultimately serve 10,000+ users across SCE’s operations.

Solution & Service Offering

Logic provided embedded project management services, supporting the coordination and delivery of program workstreams within the broader implementation effort led by Parkins Data. Our project management approach ensured clear tracking of deliverables, milestone management, and stakeholder coordination throughout the engagement, contributing to the structured execution required for an implementation of this scale and organizational impact.

Results

Logic’s project management support contributed to the successful delivery of SCE’s NextGen ERP implementation, helping maintain workstream alignment and milestone adherence across a complex, multi-year program. The engagement reinforced Logic’s ability to operate effectively within large-scale utility technology programs and deliver structured project management support alongside established technology partners.
